The Nathan 4000’s were found on countless superpower and articulated locomotives throughout America. Faithfully modeled in 1.5” scale, it will be a great looking and reliable addition to your locomotive.

Originally designed in 1.6” scale, EE decided to model this mammoth injector in 1.5” scale to better suit the Berkshires and other locomotives already built to 1.5”. The injector still stands close to 5” tall and would look great on a locomotive built to 1.6” scale.

With the operating lever, the injector functions just like the real thing. Lift the handle to the first notch to prime, and one more notch to operate the injector at full capacity. As you pull the lever back further, the injector will start to “fine down” its capacity, delivering less water. This function can also be used to cut the water back to operate at low pressures.
